handmade small-batch ceramics inspired by the sea + landscapes of the west
This batch of work required some exploration and a leap. I’ve been expanding my color palette and bringing in the expressive energy of watercolor (my first and dearest love.) When these came out I did a dance of joy (and maybe a mad scientist cackle!) Take a peek! I hope you love them as much as I do and add to your collection.
Orders from this drop will ship week of 25th! I am taking a moment to refresh my spirit in the forest. Thank you for your patience. ❤️❤️❤️
Many of these new pieces are inspired by the summer garden and trail. We experience wondrous moments among the leaves, finding a little frog, the buzzing bumbles, a little chipmunk running along the trail drinking from flowers.
As a kiddo one of my favorite books was Robert Louis Stevenson's A Childs Garden Book of Verses. The poem "The Little Land" was my special fave! Take a read if you haven't. I find myself often in this little land now examining creatures in the flowers or ferns as an adult. Rereading it now, it was almost prophetic. These little moments inspire so much of my work.
Wishing you peace and safety in this wild world right now. Love to you all.
We may not always have time in life’s busyness to walk the forest’s edge or take in the flow of the sea, but I hope my pieces conjure up a bit of those moments. ✨Thank you so much for being here!!
The studio is humming and getting into a lovely rhythm, connecting the threads of my practice, weaving it's future. ✨🌿 If you would like to see something in an upcoming shop drop, please send a note and Ill work in a batch for a future release!
Cheers, Jenn
Unurth is a collection of small batch handmade ceramics by Jenn Lamb that aim to inspire wonder and connection in our daily rituals to the natural world. Imbued with evocative color and textures the pieces are inspired by natural ecosystems across the West, often diving into details gleaned from walks along the coast, trails, or forests.
Each piece is handcrafted at my studio in Southwestern Washington.
