Snake Elevated Server

The symbol of the snake has many meanings, but I am influenced by the one from mesoamerican cultures, where it tells of transformation and renewal. Life presents it's challenges to all of us. Picking up again and reconnecting with our life's spirit is essential. 

I made this form imagining extending across the countertop to hold a sharable charcuterie spread. As we share bounty and connection with our loved ones, the snake's pattern is revealed. Beautiful as a serving piece or on it's own.
